So what about those scalies?

Not everyone in the furry community is fur covered. A portion of the fandom has a scaled side as well (And feathered!). The scalies of the community deserve just as much love as everyone else.

Scalie Fursuiters

They come in many shapes and sizes. Ranging from dragons to lizards, and even snakes! Here are a few personal faves of mine:

Now, of course, I do have more but I don’t want to fill up this whole post of just suits I like. Many materials are typically used to make “mock” scales, mostly fleece or short pile fur. Both are quite difficult to use so I praise makers that can pull them off.

Hello I'm Onix! I'm Awoo New's Fursuits Editor.

I've been a furry for over 10 years now and have been making fursuits for over 6. I started creating fursuits when I was 13 years old.

I love discovering new makers and boosting them up as well as getting to know the experiences of older/professional makers that have been around for awhile.

I do travel to cons quite a bit but mostly in Canada since I'm Canadian.

My fursona is a Chinese Dragon but sometimes I can be seen as Diana, my doughnut-themed Dutch Angel Dragon.
