How did you become a furry?

A very good friend of mind introduced me to the community many years ago and it just kind of took off from there.

“This was my first time doing a photo paint over and I honestly really enjoyed it!”

How did you decide what species your fursona would be?

I’m not sure. I don’t have a set species because I’m very indecisive. I mostly stick with humanoid or maned wolf. But other times it’s a mouse or dragon. I feel I’m most at home with the humanoid character.

“Wanted to mess around with colors more, as well as some brushes and play around with my character as a mouse! :3c Time to harvest!”

Who is your biggest inspiration?

Definitely Bryan Konietzko, the creator of the Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra series! If you mean within the furry community, probably White Mantis.

“Fall semester is over! Time to relax with… MORE DRAWING. I wanted to try painting in Photoshop again. It’s been so long ;u; I think this came out okay.”

What’s your favorite part of what you do in furry?

Creating art for others!

What are your upcoming projects? (Note: Feel free to self promote, if you choose)

Currently taking part in the Spongebob Zinepants zine for Stephen Hillenberg. Check out the page here!  Other than that, just working on commissions and my own personal projects.

“Welp, I’m glad I was able to get this piece done x3 This was to experiment with colors and backgrounds more than anything. I’m fairly happy with how this came out. There is still a lot I would like to do with the mouse, but I think she fits in with the style of this background. Hoping I can do more like this, if not better in the near future!”

What advice would you give someone who wants to create in the furry fandom?

Learn the basic fundamentals of art before selling your work. And anatomy is your best friend! Once you have good grasp on those, then the fun really begins. And don’t be discouraged by others work. Be inspired by it!

“I was SO HYPE for Monster Hunter World and incredibly inspired by the soundtrack. This was an enjoyable piece to practice with. I really want to continue working on my backgrounds! If you’re thinking about getting the game, i highly recommend it! ^u^”

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

Thank you for the awesome opportunity of featuring myself on this site! People supporting creators is one of the best things that an artist could ever receive from a community.
