Who’s the most popular animal used for a fursona

As an author my fursona has been evolving through the years, the first time I entered the fandom my fursona was based on a red squirrel that has been evolving since. But now my fursona has changed from a squirrel to a lion, I know that his was an abrupt change but I just fell in love with the creature, the lions are the most majestic creature I’ve ever seen, they are the most glamorous species you could ever find, because they can make you feel frightened about their presence but at the same time weirdly calm, because of the same glamour the lions have they will try not to attack if not provoked in any kind of way. I know lions have been classified as “man-eaters” but I don’t think that is totally right.

Some lions have shown that they are caring about humans but not all of them have that same aim about humans, where some care, some kill. This violent attitude is mostly thanks to humans by provoking them in any way, lions would only eat humans as their last resource or if they are threatening them. That is where the violence starts, someone just gets too close to a lion or gets unlucky with a lion that hasn’t eaten in a few days, but there is always a reason for this attack.

Leaving that clear, lions have been thought to inspire courage, braveness, and many more emotions that can be different from everybody’s opinion, that is why lions are so amazing, because they can make you feel threatened when looking at them, or in some kind of way empowered, that is the reason why I decided to change my fursona to a lion.

Some misconceptions about the animal that you inspired your fursona in is that some people believe that you have some kind of “spiritual connection” and I’m not trying to diminish that, is just that I do not feel a connection with this animal ( a Spiritual connection) I just like what this thought-provoking animal provokes when I see it.
