#FursuitFriday Charity Calendar benefiting Last Chance Corral!

Awoo News is partnering with Artworktee as a sponsor of the upcoming charity calendar!

The charity that will be benefited by the calendar is Last Chance Corral, a sanctuary in Ohio for abandoned and abused horses and foals. Last Chance saves over 150 foals per year, and is one of the largest caregivers for abandoned foals in the US. You can learn more about this great rescue here: http://lastchancecorral.org 

Victoria Goss is the head of the organization and works very hard to care for these vulnerable animals. From a story on Mashable:  “We wanted to put our efforts into something that people don’t want to work with, which is newborns,” said Goss. “We needed to at least give them a chance.”

Last Chance Corral was the official partner of Anthrohio last year, and so they have worked with the furry community in the past.  It’s our hope that the charity calendar will be a big help to this wonderful cause.
