Celebrating the Life of Dogbomb

Dogbomb is one of the most inspirational members of the furry community – a long time member of the fandom, he spent his life taking care of animals as a paraveterinary worker. For many years he also promoted health and fitness as the head of the Orange County Gay Runners organization.

He was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in early 2018, and has continued to inspire the furry community with frequent posts encouraging others to celebrate life and be positive even in the face of difficult circumstances or health issues.

Last night I had a realisation. Dogbomb is the Shadow to the entire Furry fandom. Shadow as in Homeward Bound. The quote is, “You’ve learned all you need to know, Chance. Now all you need to learn is how to say goodbye.” He’s teaching us how to say goodbye. Godspeed, doggo. 💔💖 🐕
