How did you become a furry?
I’ve always had a love of animals and an interest in anthropomorphic animals (namely through various animated movies) since childhood, and loved doing art of both. I technically found the furry fandom when I started posting my art online at age 13, but it wasn’t until I was 17 and just graduated high school that I began to consider myself a furry along with my high school friend, Tsebresos (we, in essence, became furry together).
How did you decide what species your fursona would be?
Put short, I choose a wolf since it had always been my favorite animal ever since I was very young (about 4 years old), and I feel that my personality aligns very well with wolf-like characteristics.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration, and who played a big part in me wanting to become an artist, was Goldenwolf. Her art enthralled me at a young age and somewhat introduced me to the fandom. Disney is also a big inspiration to me.
What’s your favorite part of what you do in furry?
I love being able to create not only for myself but for others as well. I love bringing characters to life though artwork and especially through fursuits.
What are your upcoming projects? (Note: Feel free to self promote, if you choose)
I’m currently working on an enamel pin design as well as adding various additions to my WindWolfCreations Etsy. I also have a new fursuit in the very early stages of production.
What advice would you give someone who wants to create in the furry fandom?
I’d say to just go for it. Don’t be discouraged by feeling like your art isn’t good enough or what you do/like isn’t what’s the new fangled popular thing. Just go for it! Bring your ideas to life and just have fun with it!
